Crankiness is creeping in again, despite of a thoroughly enjoyable day and evening of music.
First it was all Opera a wonderful little tease of a preview of the opera Bluebeard.....and now it's Rockn'roll--I'm not sure which I love more, but it's all good as the saying goes.
I'm watching the Grammys- the 51st!
It looks like the biggest event I've seen for some time as far as the size of the set, the lighting, the number of musicians, the number of guests, the songs, the performances, one would think they might have set a good example and cut it down to something slightly less ostentatious and costly.
But it's all show biz--so there's a chance that it wasn't as expensive and lavish as it looks.
Perhaps the Stars are appearing for free? Who knows?
Just saying!
The performances are great-no doubt about that!
I just heard a good suggestion at the Grammys--directed at President Obama and the First Lady who are said to be watching with their girls--(on account of the Jonas Brothers) that we should have a Secretary of the Arts!
I'm certainly for that!
I'm sitting right in front of my little heater, have thick Afghan rapped around me and still my fingers are so cold that I can barely type. It sucks
And on the other side of the world in Australia, people and animals are dying because of all the heat and the fires --why can't we have a nice middle ground just for a little while?
Well I just heard the weather forecast, so I better bring my Jasmin in from the balcony--again--definitely snow coming!
