Sometimes when the crows are really noisy, I look outside and wonder what all the fuss is about, and usually I end up not really knowing anything ---other then that they are very territorial and are always chasing each other and any visitors like seagulls or jay hawks--- around.
But today was a really beautiful, sunny and bright day here in western Washington (still too cold though), so I stepped out on the balcony and as I looked up--a young eagle flew directly over my head, flanked by two very loud crows taking it in turns to nip at him as they flew over.
As always, I wished my eyes could record what I saw, as it was over all too quickly, (no point in running for the camera) but it was wonderful to see the birds in action.
Just wanted to share that with my readers...before I forget.
