There's something about that Package!

I've tried to ignore it--but it's been pretty impossible to go entirely without politics for a whole day-!
What a day it's been--apparently--since I've been multi-tasking, while writing endless biographies of artists and kind of listening to very light classical music--to keep me focused and having AM1090 on in the kitchen-- but when I'm in there I hear all kinds of stuff and this is my response.

I think I'm making headway in the work department --so I'll indulge myself here for a few minutes.

One thing I'm happy about--is that Obama's choice of Commerce secretary--a right wing neocon--has decided not to take the job after all!
GOOD!
Let's hope he'll use a good strong Dem instead--someone who wants all this to work--unlike that Judd Gregg--who openly opposed to EVERYTHING Obama stands for!
The name Krugman comes to mind!

One really has to wonder who the people BEHIND Obama are--to come up with these dudd choices three times in a row--or is it more?
Secondly--the other thing that has to be made perfectly clear is that the

STIMULUS PACKAGE IS NOT THE SAME THING AS THE BAIL-OUT FOR THE BANKS!

I further appeal to Obama's people to get REAL and from now on refer to the STIMULUS PACKAGE as THE JOB PACKAGE, so the American people understand the difference!
Please, you have so many people behind you--listen to us--we want you to succeed!

Please hire me President Obama--I'll keep you up to date on what your people need to do to get through to us--enough of your Ivy-league approach, although it is nicely impressive that everyone in your admi. can actually speak correct English, after the last disastrous administration.

One more thing--would you please consider Howard Dean as your Health czar?

Ah, just remembered something else I needed to tell you --as far as I know--a single payer health system works perfectly well in Australia and other countries.
Even for the insurance companies--it just means that everybody can get true, good basic health care--and the choice of their own doctor, but they need to have insurance for vanity issues like face lifts, or liposuction.
So could you please tell your people to stop saying that it doesn't work in other countries , like I heard again today, because it works very well and has done for many years!

Oh Yeah--One more thing--could you please tell Harry Reid--this is not a time for compromise--it got us nowhere in the past--in fact I wish we could have a new Leader of the Senate!
