You might have gathered that I'm pretty much a Roger F. fan...and sometimes I can't bear the tension during a match if he's playing someone who might be a threat, and today he played such a person.
Although I didn't get to see the match--I just read how Roger beat Karlovic in 2 sets--I remember that Roger did get beaten by this giant at some point. Now it seems that they've already played nine times and Roger won eight of those--so the odds are pretty much in Rogers favor...which I'll try and remember for next time.
At this point it looks like Rog will run into Andy Murray again soon--so we'll see how that goes--but from what I have seen of Roger this time around, I'd say he looks more confident and happier in general, so I'd bet on him.
I guess he has other things to think about now as well--like fatherhood. Of course that could prove to be a two-sided thing, and distracting no matter what.
Well I wish him the best of luck in every way,and hope he wins this and every other slam this year--- as do all his fans around the world--I know.
And if not this year than next year and so on.

So glad to hear the good news, both about Federer and your new friend. It is starting to look, however, like you may need to change this blog to the "Cheerful Young Lady Post." Where's the cranky? :)
