The two images I have on my post today are taken from the house next door to me and once again cannot convey the absolute beauty of the view, just a few dozen feet removed.
It is such a pleasure to have made a new friend--right next door--after living here for over three years--and keeping to myself pretty much all of the time.
Although it took a bit of courage to take the initial step to knock on the door---I am so glad I did, and would encourage anyone to reach out to their own neighbor, if they feel so inclined.
Don't let shyness stand in your way--if they don't want to see anyone--they won't open the door and you have lost nothing in the attempt.
Of course it helps--and I would strongly advise that you actually have met that person at least in passing, lest you attract someone you'd rather not.
Anyway getting back to the photos--they are both from last night, about two hours apart--and I'm sorry about the reflections --it's the first time I've ever noticed that with a digital camera.
They were taken in between the storms, and it's obvious which one came first.
