Let me say from the start--I'm not cranky about my beloved president, and there's no way this can be blamed on him--but they'll try--anyway.
What I'm really cranky about (at least for a few minutes) is/was this!
Well,---this morning I woke up early and all exited to see the sun shining through my blinds and curtains.
For a Sunday--when I usually sleep in, I jumped out of bed, put on my walking clothes and shoes and raced to the kitchen to make a quick coffee before heading out to Redondo--at least that was my plan!
As soon as I opened the curtains --I saw snow! It's almost April and it's still cold enough for snow! My heart sank, as I really don't like to walk in snow, unless it's in the mountains and I'm wearing my ski gear.
Around here walking in snow reminds me of broken knees and other sore bones, so it was disappointing. So, instead of walking I started working and although it's still sunny now at 4pm- and I could walk- I don't like walking when there are too many people around--so hopefully tomorrow will be snow-less.
The older I get --the more I appreciate the warmth and heat of our wonderful sun--and I swear I don't want to spend another winter in this State--as much as I love it--I plan to migrate south for the winter, become a "snow bird" I guess.
Oh well that's a way off yet--so we'll see how I feel by then.

I cannot believe how much snow you've gotten this year. It's about 20x as much as all the last 16 years combined, by the sound of it. Wow...
